Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information.

Under these laws, “sharing” includes the disclosure of personal information to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising — even if no money changes hands. This means that when we use advertising and analytics technologies such as Meta Pixel, Google Ads, TikTok Pixel or similar tools to show you relevant ads on other websites, that activity may be considered “sharing” under California law.

How to Opt Out

You can submit a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information at any time. To do so, please email us at: help@xaxjewelry.com

Please include the following information in your email so we can verify your request:

• The email address associated with your XAX Jewelry account (if any)

• Your full name

• Your state of residence (California)

You do not need to create an account in order to submit an opt-out request.

What Happens After You Opt Out

• We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days.

• We will process your request within 15 business days of receipt, as required by the CCPA / CPRA.

• Once your request is processed, we will stop sharing your personal information with advertising and analytics partners for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.

• We will honor your opt-out for at least 12 months before asking you to authorize sharing again.

Authorized Agents

You may also designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. Authorized agent requests should include written permission signed by you, along with verification of the agent’s identity.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We honor browser-based opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser sends a valid GPC signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information for that browser and device.

Non-Discrimination

We will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised your privacy rights.
